Talk to the Hand – 2nd Edition

Priyadarshini Singh is a research scholar from CSIR-CCMB. She will speak about her research focus on chemotherapy and its impact on cancer treatments. She will share insights on how normal cells function, what goes wrong when a cell becomes cancerous, how cancer develops, and how cancer cells adapt to the stress, thereby becoming aggressive.

Her research primarily focuses on how cancer cells can show heterogeneous populations, making treatments difficult. She is trying to understand how this heterogeneity arises and what could be done to address it. Her work aims to design novel therapies for these challenges towards the battle against cancer.
