The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is ready for the Young Innovators Program (YIP) 2023. This is the 10th YIP where CCMB will select 20-25 students of grades 8-10 to spend two weeks in the institute (4 – 13, Jan 2023).
On 26th Dec 2022, CCMB will conduct a public lecture by Prof Ullas Kolthur from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Hyderabad at 2.30 pm followed by the selection test for YIP 2023.
On behalf of CCMB, I request schools to nominate a maximum of 2 students from grades 8-10 to participate in the selection test on 26th Dec here:

The selection test will have questions from logic, maths, and sciences (including physics, chemistry, and biology). There is no prescribed syllabus for this. Many of the questions will be logic-based so that students from grade 8 are not at an apparent disadvantage. It will help if the students go through articles from SciTales. This will help them orient to the kind of work CCMB does, and some of the questions can be based on these.
