Wildlife Week Celebrations

It gives us immense pleasure to restart our in-person student activities at CCMB.

On 14th Oct, we will be hosting fancy dress and drawing competitions for school students at LaCONES campus in Attapur. These competitions will be held as a part of Wildlife week celebrations this year. Please fill in the form here by 12th Oct, the latest, on behalf of your participating students: https://forms.gle/35STkQY4gGCdBQKT8. For every category, a maximum of 2 students can participate from each school. Below are the details of the competition.

Drawing competition: There will be 2 groups – a Junior group of 6-8th graders and a Senior group of 9-12th graders.

The themes for both groups are:

– Keystone species of different ecosystems

– Critters of your backyard

– Forest and livelihood

– Human-animal relationship

Those participating in the drawing competition have to reach the LaCONES campus by 10 am. We will provide the drawing sheets. But the participants should bring their pencils, eraser, sharpener, and colors. The competition will begin at 10.30 am. The participants will get lunch at LaCONES.

Fancy dress competition: This is only for 3rd-5th graders. The competition will begin at 2 pm. The participants should reach the LaCONES campus by 1.30 pm. There will not be lunch for the fancy-dress participants. Parents can accompany the fancy-dress participants.

The themes for the competition are:

– Keystone species of different ecosystems

– Critters of your backyard

– Forest and livelihood

Every participant will also get 60 seconds to speak about who they have dressed as.

Please note that these celebrations are not happening at CCMB’s Habsiguda campus.

The prize distribution will happen after the competition, followed by refreshments. The children should be ready to leave for their homes around 4.30 pm.
