Anukrati Sharma is a PhD student at CSIR-CCMB working in computational genomics. She is fascinated by the complexity of the human genome and uses sequencing data and bioinformatics pipelines to better understand it. Her research focuses on decoding tandem repeat regions of the genome and exploring population-scale genomic variation to uncover their biological significance and associations with disease. When she's not writing code or analyzing data, she enjoys learning Kuchipudi, traveling to new places, and can never say no to a beach getaway.
