The first week of October is celebrated as India’s “Wildlife Week”, marking the importance for conservation of wildlife. As a part of this, we are celebrating on Tuesday, the 7th of October, 2025. This year, we will be exploring the process of Zoonosis by talking to scientists, visiting the Nehru Zoological Park and pondering the effects of reverse zoonosis.
We invite you to join us in teams of six. Each team must consist of one teacher and upto five students. For the sake of logistical ease, we will accept a maximum of two teams per school.
The teams will present their solutions as posters. The team with the best solution to the problem will win. All other participating teams will get an online certificate of participation.
The event will be conducted at our campus, the Laboratory for Conservation of Endangered Species (LaCONES), from 9:30 am to 05:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
