The first week of October is celebrated as “Wildlife Week” throughout the world, marking the importance for conservation of wildlife. As a part of this, we are conducting an interactive competition as a fun way to learn about the biodiversity around us.This year we will conduct drawing & painting competition using natural colours (we will teach you how to extract the natural colours) and treasure hunt to the school students based on the wildlife theme on 4th October 2024.
Themes for the Drawing & Painting competition: (they may choose one)
Classes VI – VIII
A) Organisms of the Eastern Ghats
B) Livelihoods in the Eastern Ghats
Classes IX to XII
A) Lesser known organisms of the Eastern Ghats
B) Eastern Ghats habitats
The canvas and paints will be provided. The students are required to carry their own paint brushes and palettes. Any other material they may want to use to make their art can also be brought by them.
Two students per school can participate in each
Treasure hunt:
Each team can have 3 students and 1 adult. The team can have students from classes IX – XII. The adult in the team can be either be a teacher or a parent.
Two teams per school can participate in treasure hunt.
